2/ How did ESLSCA help you succeed ?

I attended ESLSCA in 1999-2000, majoring MBA.

My MBA from ESLSCA has been instrumental in shaping my career as a Strategic Marketing Executive and Go-To-Market Leader. The program equipped me with advanced strategic thinking and analytical skills, enabling me to excel in diverse roles across B2B and B2C markets.

  • Strategic Insight: The rigorous curriculum emphasized data-driven decision-making, which has been vital in developing and executing successful go-to-market strategies and revenue models.

  • Leadership Development: My MBA experience honed my leadership abilities, allowing me to effectively manage and inspire teams through various growth phases, particularly in my role as Vice President at Merrithew, where I led a global team and navigated complex market dynamics. I recall that many of ESLSCA professors held executive positions in French corporations, not just from a pure academia background, which to me were an important factor when I chose my business schools 26 years ago.

  • Global Perspective: The international focus of the ESLSCA MBA program prepared me for global business challenges, facilitating my expansion efforts in markets such as Asia, EMEA, and the Americas, and contributing significantly to revenue growth. The ESLSCA MBA was designed for international marketplace, not just France, focusing on EU business future and the impact globally at a time right before the euro launch. That global, futuristic perspective was extremely important for me as an immigrant to succeed in a different continent.

  • Network Building: The connections formed during my MBA have been invaluable, providing opportunities for collaboration and mentorship that have further propelled my career. There are a lot of ESLSCA Alumni in North America from Linkedin. It helps to connect with our Alumni network esp. when we do business on a global setting.

3/ What is your best memory at ESLSCA ?
Perhaps the fact that the school was so close to the eiffel tower, that as students, we sometimes do our homework reading on the grass near the eiffel towel. The Sunday free-access to the Louvre Museum always felt like a cultural treat outside our demanding study schedules.

4/ What do you love most about your job ?
As a Certified Management Consultant, I get to work with a variety of clients across different industries and I love the dynamics and continuous learning! To help organizations improve their performances and knowing that my expertise contributed to my client's success is fulfilling.  The profession as a business strategy management consultant also allows me to build a robust professional network, connecting with peers, clients, and industry leaders, and opportunities, which are fundamental for a strong believer of life-long learning like myself.
